The Holiday season is a time of celebration, and a time to help others; Genova takes pride in doing both. A few days ago, employees wrapped gifts at Lindale Mall to raise money for Arc of East Central Iowa. We have also adopted a local family in need to provide Christmas gifts and food. The Adopt-a-Family program is coordinated by the Hawkeye Area Community Action Program (HACAP). Genova provided gifts and food items for a family with 6 children. Generous employees ensured that every gift request was filled and a trunk load of food was provided for the family. In total, we collected, wrapped and delivered 32 gifts! During the month of December we have had holiday movies on the TV in the break room, and had an afternoon of games, cocoa, gift wrapping for our adopted family, and an ugly Christmas sweater contest.
