Genova Technologies has always been serious about protecting data, but in light of recent advances in ransomware and other activities that undermine data integrity, Genova Technologies has further ramped up our proactive approach to security. Our IT Analyst passed his Certified Ethical Hacker exam a short time ago. “I’ve always been fascinated with how malware works, and security has long been one of my favorite aspects of the IT world,” he said. “Becoming a Certified Ethical Hacker was a logical next step, and the additional knowledge I acquired will help me keep Genova’s data safe in the future,” he continued.
Genova also finished a Vulnerability Assessment, which was conducted by a third-party security firm. The security expert who performed the assessment said that it was one of the tightest networks he’d ever seen. Our IT Analyst said that “working with an outside firm provides a sanity check. I know my network, but it’s always good to get outside verification that our data is secure.”
